Can someone explain what this means to me??

The 3rd Satellite for the IPT qualifier took place and Brandon Ashcraft scored the spot in the qualifier.

Brandon is a great guy and I would love to see him make it to the IPT!:D

I'm not sure if I'm correct about this, because of the recent temporary blackout on AzBilliards, so to speak, but I read that Corey Deuel and Gabe Owen were running "qualifiers" for the BIG qualifier to become a 2006 IPT card-holding member, part of the 150.

The satellite qualifiers were $250 entry fees. The winner of the satellite qualifiers get a spot in the BIG qualifier, the one that has a $2,000 entry fee. The top two of this one get in the IPT this year -- is the way I understand it.

When you say Brandon "scored a spot" in the qualifier, which qualifier are you meaning? :p

Brandon probably won a satellite spot into the main event. They were running a $250 satellite with 8 players. Total for first was the $2000 qualifier spot. Now he needs to place first on the winners side or win the losers side to get the IPT spot. Good luck to all the great players in the qualifier. Sam

Thanks for the replies. It helps me a little. I read that on the AZ main page about Brandon scoring the third satellite spot. Did not understand what that meant, and that is all they mentioned about it on the home page.
