Can someone explain?

Originaly posted by ManlyShot Bazarus, that is very sad. The U.S. Open has been in existence for many years as a main event. Other than scheduling a tournament at the same time as the Open, there isn't too much the UPA can do to thwart its success. To ask its members not to particiate in the form of a boycott of a major tournament such as the Open seems harsh.

The UPA didn't ask me to boycott & not to participate in US Open, they said: "IF WE DECIDE TO BOYCOTT THE US OPEN THAN YOU CANNOT PLAY THERE". That would pretty much mean, that non of the UPA players would be able to participate in the open, I am not sure how many players are in UPA, but I know that most of the top players are there except for Strickland and Duel. So far they didn't inform me or anyone else that I know of such a boycott, so I am going to play in the open. Actually I'm going to play anyway :D

Gremlin, have you ever stopped, just for a brief moment, and thought to yourself: "Maybe the reason why I argue with so many people is because I am an asshole, and I say rude things"?

Did it ever occur to you that many of the female pro players whom you think are your friends, actually think you are very creepy? I've been told this more than once.

Did you know that drinking Crown Royal is bad for you? "Oh, that product causes cancer" "Right now I'm drinking Crown Royal 'glug glug glug'"

I'm almost certain your PMS stems from that bottle.

Go figure, you spend $100 to join the UPA just so they can tell you that you can not play in the most prestigious pool event in the United States. It seems to me that as a player it should be up to you where you play.
I'm sure Cuteone has an answer for this.

But, VeakNYC, we all know that whatever Cuteone's answer may be, that, of course, whatever "she" relays is only "hearsay"! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Frank_glenn,

I expressed my openion based on the facts I know and was told about the product.

I'm still curious as to who did the research determining that Quick Clean is a
carcinogen. If it was Brunswick, or a Brunswick table mechanic, did they use live lab rats, or was this research conducted on human subjects? Like I said, as a user of the product, I'm a little concerned, and curious about the research and the conclusion.

Bob,

It was a table mechanic who is also a microbiologist, you know like in the movie Clambake, where Elvis was a championship speedboat builder and racer as well as a geoligist and a petroleum engineer.

Damn I need a smoke now, this Quik-Clean cancer scare has got me all jittery.

The "claim" is only an attempt to ruin the reputation of a longstanding vendor, a vendor who was willing to provide product as opposed to dollars, which fell on deaf ears.

Don't worry I am not going anywhere and if I catch you presenting one sided fabrications I will call you on it.

The irony of it all!
