Hi all! Please forgive my stupidity but I would like to know......

If I am going to purchase a Predator shaft for a McDermott Quick release, which shaft is right for me? I realize it's a 3/8-10 but with a quick release will the full thread work? Also, what is a Uni-loc pin? I know some of you might think I'm retarded but, you can't learn if ya don't ask.
Plus, what better place to learn? ;-) Thanks everyone in advance for your response!

Partner the McDermott Quick Release is not 3/8-10 it is a different thread all together. If you want a Predator shaft with that insert by it from McDermott directly they will even match the collars to your cue.
