Atleast TAR doesn't get people streaming thier shit on Ustream or Justin.tv like every other sport that has PPV.

I cant believe this is even an argument. Its just score updates chill out. Im on my iphone at a tourney and cant watch but can get score updates.

Who cares about the stupid rep system, the thing is useless. Keep the scores coming.

No GATZ --- I am trying to compare apples to apples, he is apples to oranges

That was my point. ESPN gives out scores on what is live on other FREE channels.

I don't have NFL gameday ticket ( or w/e it's called ), which is PPV, so that means I can't watch every single NFL game going on... Does that mean that I shouldn't be allowed to know the scores or stats of those games because I have other things that I need that money to be spent on?

Believe me, i'd love to be watching it... but you need to look at this from a fans standpoint.

You want pool promoted... as long as we're willing to pay the money to do so?

I don't think the pool world is any situation to be picky about things.

they give round by round scoring on the bottom line on every big fight that i can remember. someone on here is just a straight up hater:frown:
 
Doesn't it help the azbilliard site get more hits when there are scoring updates? And doesn't az help Tar in a huge way?

I'm at work getting updates on my iPhone and I would be willing to bet that the updates actually promote people buying the feed. Guy that hasn't been living and breathing Az comes on here and sees that there is a match in progress and buys the feed.

Maybe it should be...that is what made UFC so big.

And television has commercials so it can be seen for free.

Bingo. Other sports and sports channels have big money sponsorship. Pool and TAR in-particular only have the sponsorship they get from the fans which is us. If they can't make enough money selling the ppv then they won't be able to stay around forever. Just some food for thought.

I understand..

But at the same time, I don't think it's going to change the amount of people that would have been watching it or not simply because all you have to do is be in the chatroom to get the score updates.
 
Well apparently the chatroom has now taken notice and they have decided to not say the score updates...

so, i'm out of here, it wasn't even important in the first place as I and everyone else is going to find out who won or not at the end of this thing without paying the 25 bux.

Some people have a saturday night to go out to and are wondering what's going on down there in clearwater while they are passing some time...

I guess that's asking to much... well done.
 
it would be nice to get an update. I buy lots of the PPV but I did not expect to be home tonite so I did not buy it. I will be there live to watch tomorrow though. :grin:
