Can we get some play by play on the Finals?

Cheng did get out, up 8-5. Broke dry and Karl made a great 1-ball bank using a ball to stop the cueball for the 2.

Looks like an easy out from here, he will probably miss.

<edit> Nope, he even surprised himself and actually got out after trying to scratch in the side pocket on his 8-ball shot but failing to hit it hard enough.

Cheng up 8-6, Karl breaking.
 
Karl has a horrible leave off the break, looking at a kick, should be pushing out to a better kick.

<edit> He did push, Cheng gave it back, it was a bad move, Karl made a sick shot shooting the 1-ball through a window and stopping the cueball dead for a really good safety.

Both playing sub 0.900 pool atm, pretty weak play with quite a few errors.

I'm more shocked at Karl because he's been on the worlds stage before Kevin is just breaking the ice however he is way up at this point

Yeah, Karl is a world champion.

Kevin looks WAY more loose and comfortable out there atm, he looks like he expects to win, and Karl looks like he expects to lose.
 
Holy crap, Kevin Cheng shot the 7-ball a diamond from the pocket and barely caught the inside of the point... very lucky it went in

Cheng almost hooked himself on the 4 with sloppy shape, but it worked out. He is up 10-6 after running out.

It looks like he is destined to win this US Open.
 
Almost the exact same break as last time, he is controlling the 1-ball well and making the wing ball, it looks like he should be out.
 
Cheng runs out, but he is really tightening up as he closes on the finish line. If Karl could actually get to the table and put a couple racks up there I think we might see some cracks in Cheng's armor, but Karl's own misses earlier in the match have put him into a huge deficit.
 
Another good break, 1-ball came off the point of the side and is hanging over the corner. Pretty routine out here.
 
Out again, up 12-6.

Karl's 3 completely blown outs would have made this 9-9.

Karl is dead, Kevin is gonna win this thing.
