Can we get the Forsale section separated?

It would only benifit non members

Members just search for what they want by Brand name and where it is on the forum is relitively immaterial.
Non members are not allowed to search.
Nick :)

I think this thread needs to be moved to the main forum...........all you that agree with seperating the thread, which eather way it dont matter to me, are bumping things for sale or trade or wanted down farther on here. Everytime you post, which I'm doing here...............move the thread and stop doing what you are complaining about.............

I agree that it's come time for some division... some. I don't want to see so many categories that it's a labor finding things, and I don't see any reason to try & separate by custom & production cues. Sounds like an unending arguement in definition to me.

For Sale Section

i think 3 categories is plenty, Wanted to buy/ For Sale custom cues & cases #1, Production cues & cases # 2, all other pool related items # 3, as far as seperating dealers from the rest, there are many not considered dealers, that sell much more than dealers do. also just my opinion for what its worth, after a certain amount of sales, everyone should be required to become a club member & support AZ Billiards, after all, they deserve the support.

I believe that if you try to separate from custom/production you're just going to start getting people trolling trying to tell people that their huebler custom shop is still a "production cue" or some other equally menial arguement.

My opinion would be either leave it exactly the way it is, or separate VERY broadly.

Cues, Cases, Accessories.

But even at that, I really think the for sale section works the way it is. . .how often are you going to go LOOKING for that new accessory. But if someone has something new and different, they post it here, and someone sees it, maybe they even sell a few because of it.

Just my $.02.

Do you guys who want seperate section even realise how many hits you get here everyday?
Some people might just buying a tip or and accesory or something else are potential buyers for a cue or something highend. They might buy next time. But if you subject them to a seperate section they might not even see your cue. This will be loss of exposure to everyone.
My last comment for having seperate section for dealers non dealers was not serious.
And i still strongly suggest that it is good the way it is. It is a buyers market and i think little inconvinience to seller for bumping his thread is not that bad considering number of hits you get here.
Someone is not a buyer today and look at your cue might be a buyer tommrow or in future.

Thanks.

Guys, come on.....price breakdown and type of seller is overkill. Not too many is the key. More than a handful or so categories would defeat the purpose imo, thus creating more clutter. I've been scanning through a lot of pages here and used Marcus' recommendations as a baseline. These come to mind as the major categories that can capture and divide everything cleanly.

1. Custom Cues and Cases
2. Production Cues and Cases
3. Shafts, Tips, Joint Caps
4. Other Accessories and Services (instruction materials, etc.)
5. Clothing
6. Tables and Table Parts

^^^This I totally agree with.

I've read most all the posts here and feel no matter which way it goes -someone will be un happy.one thing i would like to know is how do i delete a thread of my own which is no longer good. I post only billiard related items for sale or to be crafted and when a item of mine sells i think it should be able to be deleted .Just my opinion.
