Can you get snooker cues with a pro taper?

Can you? something i've been wondering last few days as I've been watching the worlds at the crucible. never did like the taper on snooker/english pool cues, would be interesting to try one with a pool cue style even taper. that's if there are such things.

i don't think such a cue could be made, because the tip of snooker cues is so small. it would be really whippy and probably break easily.

the only reason for a pro taper is to allow the cue to pass through a closed bridge with less friction

snooker is primarily an open bridged cue sport so it's not needed

I,ve been playing snooker and golf for the past 20 or so years with what is thought to be a McDermott cue, 10mm tip, 59" length, 3/8-10, pro-taper. It rolls straight together and apart. It is whippy, draws like nobody's business. Just don't play any pool with it. Wolf
