Can you identify these cues?

Hello, both cues are Asian import cues. Your Dads cue was most likely made in the 1980's to the early 1990's or later it is sometimes hard to tell. Your Brothers cue was also Made in Asia somewhere between 1995 and now.

Its my brothers. He wont get rid of it.

He paid about $65 for it brand new about 13 years ago maybe? Has never had a problem except for re-tipping I think. We use it to break with until my J&J gets here. Its actually a decent hitting stick. The shaft bends like a banana but has never warped, etc.

Can anyone identify the cue in the top 3 pics? I've talked to my father and he said he bought it from a pool hall back around the 79-81 timeframe. Any help is appreciated.

i have cues similar to the first cue you pictured. Eckes cue, made in marshfield wisconsin. mine have a joint screw that comes to a point. no longer being made, got out of the business before the boom hit in the mid 70's. they are listed in the blue book.

I understand that, but I was looking for a maker.

I would doubt that it is ever going to be possible. However, it is possible that these cues, at least the first one was made He Long Dong, or his brother Yi Flung Poo, but without a signature you will never know for certain.;)

Seriously though during the time these were made, they were being produced in Free Taiwan not Main Land China like to day!!!!

Good luck!!!!!

Does your cue have Magnum on the forearm below the cues joint, if so contact me I have the Catalogs and I can tell you the model you have, and the original cost new.

Thanks manwon, but i have the catalogs. some of the cues had magnum imprinted on them, in the late stages of the company. I collect certain varieties of the Eckes cues, so if anyone has any of the models with a 3/8-10 joint, i would be interested.
I am listed in the blue book, first name in the acknowledge section, and under Radar Billiard Productions in the back, from when we started running tournaments all over the country.
