Can you recommend a situation for the USBA interview with Carlos Hallon

Carlos Hallon does not have email to speak of. So I need to snail mail a situation to him before the interview at the end of the month. He has been in enough battles through the years as a USBA Champion. There won't be anything he hasn't been confronted with. But it is always nice to get a perspective from one of the best players in the U.S.

I appreciate your input/diagrams.

I will use one of the plethora of situation/solutions recently posted for Carlos Hallon.

Thanks

Sorry about my earlier post. Had to read more carefully to understand. Here's a situation for Carlos Hallon. Shooting as Yellow cue ball.

Just wondered if Carlos would have tried something else.

Thank you.

Thanks Skatch. I had to get a diagram to Carlos quickly since he doesn't have email.

During the interview this is the situation we will ask Carlos for a solution obviously without the solution diagrammed.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas

Steve,

FYI, if you are going to use the shot you diagrammed and if that is supposed to be the same shot that I had previously diagrammed, then your version is different than mine. Mine had all 3 balls lined up evenly along the middle diamond of the long rail (all 3 exactly in the center of the table). Your diagram shows a slight angle for the cue ball. In your diagram, the cross table is much more feasible. Not so with my diagram.

I appreciate your perception Jim. Although my diagram and yours isn't perfectly exact nether is your statement that your diagram has the balls evenly lined up along the middle diamond of the long rail. One can clearly see that they are not.

Good thing I lined them up along a grid and also explained upfront that all the balls are straight.
