cancelling ipt membership

it sure is funny that when you want to cancel your ipt membership you cant do it,just another sign of what kind of scum k.t. and his joke of a company he runs,anyone that puts another penny into his company(i.e. quallifiers)deserve to be taken like everyone else.
 
Did you try to cancel yours? There are a few people here that did cancel & so far they haven't said anything about having any trouble.

More and more are piling up on his credenza. Probably is clueless as to which one to put in for various situations.

I've got a friend named STEVE that will provide consultation for an outrageous fee.

He only works for CASH.... no OZ's,CHECKS,AIR,STOCK or sexual favors.
 
I just got around to canceling mine tonight. I'll post here what they do. I'm hoping they email me back saying it is canceled...
 
If you read some of the long history of subscribers experiences with other KT companies over the cancellation of subscriptions you will find that merely receiving an e mail or telephone confirmation from the company in which they confirm having cancelled your subscription is not in itself always a wholly reliable indicator that no further deductions from your credit card will be sought by them in the future.

In the unfortunate event that the subscriptions keep on being debited against your card after you have cancelled,possession of a dated confirmatory e mail will however of course help you as you later plod your way through the charge dispute procedure with your credit card company.

After the post by Roy, I copied his post, modified it for me, and sent the cancellation notice to Deno's email...... NEVER GOT AN ANSWER.

Then just last Saturday, I also sent the notice to info@internationalpooltour like it was recommended to do ....... NO ANSWER YET!

SO I HAVE NO CONFIRMATION THAT I HAVE BEEN CANCELLED ....:mad:

Anyone else having a problem with this?????? :(

I sent an email yesterday morning at 8.23am EST to info@internationalpooltour.com and got this response this morning at 10.41am EST:

"Mr. Sinnott,

Your IPT membership has been cancelled as requested. Can you please tell us why you are canceling?

IPT Web Team"

They responded in a little over 26hrs to me (pretty good) so I now consider my membership cancelled.

It looks like they like some people better than others ;)

I just sent an email to info@in.....com and said that I could still log on, and asked if my cancellation was ok.

It took less than 5 minutes before they answered ;)
 
cancelation

I set to cancel mine saturday recieved an email first thing this morning no problems. even put in there that video isn't working and that they are not honest enough to tell everyone what is going on so they aren't good enough for my 5.95 a month.:cool:

If all else fails, cancel that specific credit card and get another card (new card number, of course) from the issuing company.
 
Or you can just tell the credit card company that you used to block the IPT from any further use...I've had to do that before with other companies...:mad:

Many CC companies now have web interfaces to your account (may have to go sign up for it) so you can see your current charges/balance etc., without having to wait for your statement to come in.

Those of you who've cancelled, I'd look into this with your respective CC companies. Go through old statements (paper or online) and figure out what day of the month (more or less) the IPT had been tapping your account for the monthly charge. Monitor your online balance around that day of the month after you've been told your account is cancelled, and see if an IPT charge shows up after all.
 
cancel monthly dues

I only just realised that the IPT is charging my credit card at the start of the month. I will try and get this reversed and membership cancelled. Has anyone had success getting the monthly charged reversed? I dont want to give the IPT one more penny until They pay whats owed to the players.

I got the same email when I canceled. If they keep charging me I'll reverse charges, block them, then add my complaint with all the other CC KT reporters. I doubt I'll have to do that though. I suspect they really did cancel me... Time will tell...

is the $5.95 monthly charge for the current month or the previous month? In other words are we paying in advance?
