Tom,
You unintentionally insult everyone's understanding of a player when it comes to cues.
This cue is more of a showpiece than a player.....it only meets that definition because you use it.
Great cue.......I have two cues underway. One is a player....a legitimate player.......I'll receive the cue
in another week or so and post photos of a real player, not a starlet cue like yours you mistakenly
referred to as a player.
Six weeks or so from now I hope to have my custom cue and I'll also post photos of that cue. That's
why I purchased five Kamui Clear Tips from you.......my player cue has 2 shafts and my fancy custom
cue has 3 shafts. I'll post photos of the cues but only the first one arriving from Bob Owen can be
legitimately referred to as a player cue as I know the term.
Your cue is hardly a player cue as you described it unless all the others in your collection happen to be
Black Boar, Mottey, Ginacue, Prewitt, etc. equivalent quality cues. Great ring work on your cue with the
red veneers and stitched ivory. and three rings look great rather than the customary two rings one so
often sees in a cue design.......Really sweet butt sleeve design. Is the butt cap Delrin or equivalent?
As you know, most players wouldn't typically have an ivory butt cap. Mine that's coming doesn't but my
custom which subsequently follows will have a ivory butt cap. I'll post photos of the cues for comparison
and I can tell you right now that your cue does not resemble what I envision a player cue to look like.
