Had a great time a the Planet Pool event this past weekend in Hagerstown. Thought I'd share some pictures with you. Can only do one per post so it will take a coupe of posts. First I'll show you the picture that is going on the mantle by my pool table. You all might recognize these two.

Oh, about the title of the post. Well, these stools they had around the spetator area didn't have a back on them.
Doesn't really matter if you all get a laugh out of it cause I already got a laugh from every when I damn near feel off.

You owe me a beer JAM ;)

It will be my pleasure! :) Those are fantastic pictures, especially the one taken in 1986 of Grady Seasons and you! :D

We didn't get a chance to play that race I was talking about. I want pictures of us playing too!

About the weight I'll need?

1. The flashes from the camera won't bother me. If they bother you, to bad.

2. weight? I think we have about the same size beer belly, so we'll play alternate break.

3. Yours might have me by a little so I get the first break.
:D :D :D

CaptainJR,

Great pictures!!! Thanks for sharing them with us.

Also, thanks for the games and the lessons. I will handle my losses with dignity.

It was great meeting you and I hope you had a great time.

Hope to see you again soon.

Best to you and yours. Jerry

Maybe the wife scared him outta saying hi, LOL. Both of our pictures have been around the forums...so really that is no excuse. ;)

It was a pleasure meeting you and playing for a while. I'm sorry, once you introduced yourself to me, I should have introduced you around to the others. Next time I will.

Timberly and LS,

I would have loved to meet you both. I am sorry that I did not press the folks at the front to hear about who else from AZ was at the tournament. I know that I have seen pics of Timberly but not sure about LS. Since I have read that LS's hubby made the cue that was donated for the raffle, I know she must have been there. It would have also been nice to meet Cory (sp?).

There was no intended slight and I appologize for not making more of an attempt to meet you as well as others from AZ that were there.

LS is correct, there are really no excuses.

You both have a great sense of humor and I enjoy your posts and, again, I am sorry we did not get to meet.

No problem. I understand. I just wanted to let you know that not getting to meet you all was not our intention. Besides, it is always fun to sweat matches with folks in the know (you, Timberly, etc...). I am the outsider looking in. :) :) :)

Jerry

p.s. The cue that Cory made was really nice looking and I am sorry I did not win it. I'm sure it found a nice home though.

Jerry,

Be careful what you wish for................................

Actually, I can say that L/S and Timberly are two fine people. And they certainly add flair to the forum here.

Hey CaptJR,

Thanks. It does seem that I was remiss in getting around the room. I wish we had AZ nameplates or something. Maybe an idea for the future.

As I said before, the games were great. Anytime your are up for it, it will be my pleasure to play again. You played very well. Sorry you did not go further in the tourney. At least you did not sit on the sidelines like me.

Sorry about the minor hijack of your thread.

Mike,

I don't think it will be an issue. Both LS and Timberly seem to have some really great insight and are, when they want to be, really funny. :D

There's a good reason barstools don't have backs...

Cap'n, barstools are not supposed to have backs, because when you get to the point of being so drunk you can no longer balance on one you are automatically "moved" away from the bar.
