The one pocket tournament is underway, any board member besides Keith McCready in it?

There is a good field, Buddy Hall, Rodney Morris, Jeremy Jones, etc.

My predictions for the winners side is a matchup of Frost versus Jones and Buddy Hall versus Larry Nevel

Is there a web site where we can see the ladder?

Pel, its on the front page.
Nc, now that you have wet our appetites tell us more.and stop by Parkers bbq and have some for me please along with some hushpuppies. and tell my grandma Hi for me too.lol

Did anyone else notice that Dennis Hatch was in this event, he must have just got let out of the slammer. He is or atleast he was the best money player from the US, including Archer.

NC,
There should be a Parkers in Goldsboro down near the mall.Great southern BBQ.

If anyone is there, how is JR Gay hitting them? He's the housepro at my room and seems to be fighting throught the losers bracket at a sport pace.

henho, will be there a little later, will let you know. BTW where is your home room and what do you call Mr. Gay JR or Leil? Is he a nice guy, does he gamble if so what is his best game and what does he like to bet?

Yes, Mr. Leil Gay does gamble. His favorite gambling game is probably one pocket......since he is a past U.S Open One Pocket champion.

I thought Parkers was only in Wilson and Greenville. Anyhow, can someone post the match times for the one pocket? And is there going to be any late night action? If so I might head up there late tonight.

Everyone calls Leil Gay Jr.--- Just JR. He gambles and his best game is straight pool and one pocket. What he likes to bet is how much you are willing to lose!

As mentioned above, everyone calls Leil Gay "JR". His best game is probably onepocket and straight pool but he will bet up a storm on anything. He plays out of Northfield Billiards in Northfield OH, about 20 minutes SE of Cleveland. If you want a card game he can certainly give you that to, lately he seems to be playing cards as much as pool. JR is a true champion, he hit the road as a kid, worked his way up the hard way, and hit the usual obstacles encountered by today's male professionals. He is a 300+ ball runner in straight pool, so don't expect to get to shoot much!

If you set up a game with him please let me know on the forum or by PM, I'd love to come watch or put some action on the side.

Edited to say: You'll have a harder time finding a nicer sportsman in the world of pool.

Hiroshi Takenaka

Does anyone know if Hiroshi Takenaka and Miyuki made it to the tournament? I know they were going to try and put it in their schedule.

Who won the one pocket event????????? AZB has not posted it and there are no brackets for the 9-ball event....

Scott Frost won in dominating fashion. The finals were a race to 5. David Gutierezz won the first three games then Frost switched gears and won five in a row for a 5-3 finals victory.

If he is such a great guy, somebody should tell him that walking around with his nose so high does not give good impression
