Can you recommend a good online source for carom cues sold in the US? I can't seem to find any online US dealers for Adams/Helmstetter carom cues. I need two cues preferably butterfly spliced with wood pins. Thanks! I live in Chicago so if you know any local sellers feel free to reference. Is Adrian still making cues?

WuClan,

I got mine through Pooldawg though I'm sure other places are also carrying it now.

Helmstetter/Adam came out with new line, whole bunch of new carom cues. I got with 4 butterfly splices and 2 shafts, about $450. Looks much better than the old ones. the old model they used to use was liek NTSC-1 throught NTSC-6.

I'll look for a link or a pic and I'll post it here again.

Hi WuClan,
I beleive Adrian is still making cues. Last year he frequently stop by the Green Room on Odgen Avenue near Downer's Grove on Tuesday evenings. There is a small 9ball tournament. Give it try! Unfortunately, I don't a phone number.

not good enought

well

i rspect all opinions but for me nothing like a Layani cue... Thierry makes the cue u want, with the weight u want and the conical joint makes you hit really smood...
in fact there are several good cues here in europe ... most of the players now use Longoni cues but for me the conical joint is by far superior to the wood joint.

just go to layani cues web site and send email to Thierry ... he´s a swell guy.

PS : i´m only an medium player of 0,800 average.

The Schuler joint is great too.IMO you can find many good cues in the market-Layani is one for sure. The key of becoming a better player is good trainning , play against good players and love the game...

You should have no problem finding a carom cue in Chicago. Any of the old time local player can steer you straight.

Hi
My name is Bassel, I am owner of Custom Cue Lathes, and the US dealer for Layani and Hanbat Billiard Cues. I just got a shipment of some nice hi end butterfly cues with wood joint. you can give me a call @ 248-884-4469 or email: customcuelathes@yahoo.com
www.customcuelathes.com is my website.
looking forward to hearing back from you.
PS: I will have all my Billiard Cues inventory with me in Vegas next month for the nationals.
Regards

If you live in Chicago there is a pool hall in Palatine I believe called Quentin Corner that sells Schuler cues.

i just purchased a longoni this weekend. i went the cheap route and got the minerva butt and paired it with an S2 shaft. longoni's website doesn't recommend the cue for 3-cushion, but it certainly does the job for me. right now it is a hair under 18oz. i ordered the weight kit from kozoom, so i can adjust up closer to 19oz, to my liking. thus far, i really like it. i have a dieckman, as well, which is also a wonderful cue.

best.
