The playing surface of the carom table (3-cushion) table should be 4.5ft x 9ft (from rubber to rubber). Is it correct?

I ordered the 9ft table and it comes in as 4ft 1.5" (about 4" short to make 4.5ft) for the width and the length is 8ft 4" (about 8" short to make it 9ft).

thanks.

I got the craftmaster. they said they got a pool table convert to carom so it is a bit short. width 4" short and lenght 8" short. it is okay to play, but not happy since it is not exactly 9ft table.
for the cue, yeah, I got 2 cues from him from his previous auctions.
:)
thanks.

A legal 3 cushion table (no pockets) playing surface is 5ft. by 10 ft. There is one at a local pool hall and I've played a little.

The tournament table is 5x10, but for home use and pool hall, sometimes 4.5x9 can be used. The other thread says a 9ft table is 50" x 100".
The exact measurement of the table is 49.5" x 99.5" from cushion to cushion instead of 50" x 100".

The table is not ready yet.
When I ordered the table 4 weeks ago, they said it will be ready next week.
Next week, they said not ready, give them another week.
Then another week went by, they said the rail is not perfect, give them another week.
Then 4th week comes, they bring the table to the house...then the cloth is not 9ft long. They will come back next week. This is a horrible experience ever. I ordered it right here at Craftmasterpooltable. It is a worst experiences from the cues to balls, they give me wrong balls, wrong cues.... then when you call to make corrections, they said they spent too much time on this table already....they are loosing money on it....bla...bla...bla. I will not reccommend it to any one.

Question. when you order the table, do you paid 100% or paid 50% then pay remaining after installed? I paid 100% when ordered..... I think when I paid 100% up front, then they delay my table until a month later

Tampabay, did you see this?

If it was a special order you probably were require 100%. Depend how you financed the table - cash, credit card, bank loan, or loan throught the table company/supplier? How many carom table has the company done? Where did their spec come from? Maybe you should ask for a discount, since you're not satisfied. Since they would lose about $300.00 if you request they take it back. But it would depend on the contract you sign.

Billiardshot, wow, that is a good design.

Yes, it is a special order table and table can't be returned or exchanged. I can't believe it, a month later the table still not ready.
