Carom Tables in Charleston, SC??

I'm headed to Charleston, SC for two weeks over the holiday and have called all the pool halls in the area looking for a carom table. No luck. However, someone at one of the billiard supply compannies said they'd sold a table to a "Spanish bar" a while ago but didn't know the name of the place.

Does anyone know where I can locate a table to play on while in Charleston?

You can go to usba.net and there is a room finder there. I'd look, but I am too busy to be on a billiard forum!:wink: :)
 
Whenever I'm looking for a table in a new town I always brush up on the Vietnamese, Korean, and Spanish words for the game and go around bars and places to eat asking where to find places to play - I've even had luck sticking my head in a Korean church to ask.

Sometimes it can be handy to have someone who speaks the language write it down for you so you can just show the question to people if you're having trouble communicating. I had all the ways to ask put together in a file but I'm travelling and can't find it now, sorry.

Thanks for the great suggestions. No luck finding a carom room in Charleston... there are none listed in all of South Carolina!! I play at my home room with some Korean fellows, so will get the pronunciation down before I leave.
