Caroms

Is there any good instructional material out there that covers no rail caroms in depth?
Daly's Billiard Book.

Also, you need to get Frederic Caudron's 2-DVD set on carom billiards. He shows how to run 200-300 at straight rail and explains what he's doing. He also shows the other carom games. This is the most amazing demonstration of cue ball control you will ever see. I ordered some from http://www.i-billiard.nl/products_online_en.html
with good results. The seem to have previews there, but I couldn't get them to run. "Master of Billiards" is the instructional set. The DVD of Caudron's final two matches in the World Balkline Championship are equally amazing.

I bought Mosconi's On Pocket Billiards (that's the green book, right?) and that's pretty much given me a good grasp on it. Almost helped one of my teammates (apa 3/4) make a nice carom on the 8 last night using backspin to put top on the target ball for a later and more widely angled carom (he was maybe an inch off on a carom a few feet from the pocket). The small amount of instruction he has for caroms in there has really come in handy, I'd definitely suggest it to anyone.

These are the ones to have FOR SURE.

I'll have to check those out. I'm not really looking to play caroms, only to become good at caroms to help out my 9 ball/8 ball/14.1/One Pocket games
