Well I have finally decided to get a new cue and now I am also looking for a new case. Looking for at least a 3x5. Probably do not need all that space right now but I will eventually. Maybe one with a specific pocket for my jump handle. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas. Looking to stay under about $250.

Try and get a used John Barton (JB) case in the for sale section. You might need to bump your budget a bit.

The other day I was looking for a case for a friend of mine.
I googled "high end" leather pool case. I came across some killer cases for around the price your looking to spend.

JB has some cheaper nylon cases or vinyl. Same protection as the full out custom leather ones and much.... much cheaper.

i second this. you mix up the outside with different colors and add names and what not. I have one and am pleased so far.
