case experts - i'm looking to identify a case

this is a case i have had for a few years now. originally it was sent as a fellini but there was no tag. i bought it anyway thinking it may be an ann gore but i'm not sure. the tube is a little larger than a george or a thomas, i have tried the tops of these other cases on this one and they won't fit, too small. the studs on the bottom are evenly spaced, does that have any significance? here are some pics:

Think it could be a Calli, was it a Kalli Case made in TEXAS a few years back. Or maybe the Case was sold as a Calli, was it a Kalli Case made off shore. PM John Barton as I am sure he will know.

I going with Kalli, or Calli. Top of the Case is the tell, and you saying "the tube is a little larger than a george or a thomas"

Looks like a Kelly Case to me....

this case is larger in diameter than a thomas or an it's george, i have not compared it to a fellini. the tops of those cases won't fit over this case. i don't know if it matters but it is 33 inches long.

If it is larger than a Fellini it has to be a Schon, as Bill's cases were smaller than a Fellini.

okay, here's an update. the brown lid if off a fellini case:

as you can see the fellini lid is not as tall or as wide side to side or front to back. and the leather is thicker as well. i have also tried an older it's george lid, a thomas lid with a fellini latch, and a thomas friction fit lid all with similar results. the width front to back is noticeably larger on this case than all the rest. as you can see the strikers are very similar on the fellini and my case. does the thicker divider and material inside show anything?

well, does this clear anything up or does the mystery go deeper?

I think it is a Schon or a Snakewood(?) The inside of the top is beveled as well as the slip-joint. I can't recall a case that had both surfaces beveled.
The lock looks almost exactly as wide as the case Raist has pictured in this thread. He referred to the case as a "Snakewood".

that case was later sold as a viking case altho i seem to remember the word viking was on the latch. i never noticed the bevels before and i have checked out my other casesand no other tops are beveled (great catch). i may try and call viking to see if they made any without the word viking on the latch. thanx for the help.
