Could anyone share how they maintain their highend leather cases such as justis etc, to prevent the leather from degrading/cracking/ageing?
moisturise the leather?

thank you

You can use saddle soap to clean a case, but you need to rehydrate the leather afterwards. Some types of leather require specific products to reintroduce the necessary oils back into it, but a good general conditioner is Lexol Conditioner. You can find it in a spray bottle at most auto centers.

If you know the type of leather, then look up the appropriate product from saphir - they make great quality leather reconditioning items.

Search on the web for Potter and Sons Shoe Artisans, on their YouTube channel they explain the restoration of high end shoes and finishes...

Most all professionals use products made by Saphir Medaille d'Or made in France, another source is Horween Leather Chicago, been around and still is since 1905, have a store and excellent leather care products, interesting history in fact they still supply the pig skin leather for footballs for more than 70 years!

Well I have old pair of Diadora Cycling Shoes, were made in Italy, Real Leather. Going strong since 1993, or 1994. If you take care of thing they last wen you buy quailty.

Buy cheap junk, it don't last.

Kiwi make good shoe creams, polishes, and leather conditioners. Wal-Marts have.
