case to hold balls and 2 cues

Got one for Christmas one year. The case was very cheaply made. The aluminum is very thin and was pulling out of the side rails. Hope that makes sense a bit. Not glued well either. I also got a set of Aramith ballas with it.
You put a set of balls in it with 2 cues and I doubt you'll want to lug that package around. Much much too heavy. Anyway, even if the case wasn't damaged, it would have been going back regardless.
Also, the foam insert for the balls wasn't well made. If you were to remove the balls a few times, it would almost be guaranteed that the foam would have started to peel, tear and fall apart.
The holes for the balls were much too deep. You had to stick your fingers down to retrieve the balls. I could see the problem of eventually stretching the holes for the balls and then tearing them as they got weaker.
If you can get one on the cheap side, then try it out but I'd never pay full pop for one. Great idea, bad design.
Thats said, they are a classy looking case. If you saw what I saw, the thiness of the aluminum, then you'd see that the aluminum is approx twice the thickness of heavy duty aluminum bar b cueing foil. Not much to it.
You'd be better off getting ahold of Roger Taft on AZ and ordering a custom wood ball box for approx the same price.
His AZ name is Hightrucker and sorry, I can't remember if he has a couple of numbers behind his name. I think so.
He recently got married and I haven't heard from him in a while. I thinks he may still be in honey moon phase.
