Does anyone have any good suggestions for a
strong lightweight 2x3 case, I am going to
Valley Forge in March and don't want to have
to carry my big 3x5 leather case

IMO, Porper is the best light hardcase out there for the $. They are not my favorite case but they're my favorite SECOND case, if that makes sense. They're ideal for travel because they're light but they're very strong and they're cheap enough that if you scratch up the case, you don't care.

Its not 2x3 but I bought a cheap Elite case for $50 (2x2)

Its compact, has plenty of pockets and light....

Two years ago in Vegas BCA, I had made a quick score at the poker table and I was fed up with the big case I was carrying at the cramped BCA venue and I bought it with expectations of just getting through the BCA before it fell apart.

(I am still using it with no signs of it coming apart)

Plastic pipe with 2 end caps and some bubble wrap. Cheap and indestructible.
