The JB Butterfly case has been SOLD pending payment.
Thanks

I have a few too many cases, so it's time
to sell a few of them. I loaned my camera out
to a friend of mine who has yet to return it, so
I'll have to use a few pictures that are a group
shot, which some of the cases are not for sale.
The cases that are for sale are the Whitten 2x4
Python Snakeskin (2nd from right) and the Engles
1x2 Stingray (far right).

The Whitten snakeskin case is new. I bought it
to use for a storage case, and before I received
the case, I had sold the cue which was intended
to be stored in the case. It is a one of a kind...

The Engles stingray case is a very rare case. I
was originally told there were 3 of these cases,
but I have since talked with a friend of mine who
also has one in his collection and with his help I
have been able to count 6 known to exist. There
may be a few more that I'm not aware of, but I
certainly do not want to be knowingly guilty of
stating that this case is a "one of a kind" when
in fact there are a few more. That being said, the
case is somewhat rare, and in great condition. The
price of both cases are $1500 each. If you are a
serious buyer you can contact me via email...

If these cases have not sold by the end of the month,
they will be available to be seen at the Windy City Cue Show Oct 6th & 7th...

how about the black Whitten case ????for Sale ????

Thanks Chris

The black Whitten case is also brand new. It is a
genuine elephant trimmed 2x4 with all the options available.
The cool thing about this case is the fact that the zipper
for the jump cue compartment is located on the side of the
long pocket, so as not to detract from the look of the case
by putting the zipper on the top of the long pocket. I waited
a very long time for this case, and it's not cheap. I'm really
not all that motivated to sell that case, but as they say, all
things are for sale if the price is right. I'll send you a PM with
the price Chris. If the truth be told, I would just order another
case like it, because that's how much I really like the case. I
wouldn't be too thrilled about having to wait that long again to
get another one though...
Like I said, the case is brand new. The reason I haven't taken
it out and used it is because I received the JB butterfly case
first, and I needed a nice case to haul around several cues I
had for sale at the time, and I saw no reason to switch cases
until the next custom cue I have on order arrives with the
elephant skin wrap to match the trim on the Whitten. I know,
I know, I've got it bad. It's a sickness I've acquired over time
of matching the cases with the cues that go in them. Custom
cue with an elephant skin wrap deserves a Whitten case with
elephant skin trim work...IMRHO!

Cases

I also own 2 stingray cases one just like yours and one slightly different. I also like matching up my cues and cases. Just one of those things.....glws

A lot of looky-loo's at the show, but no serious
offers. I had one guy come up as we were closing down
and threw a ridiculous low-ball offer for one of my cases
at me. If my 13 yr old wasn't there within earshot, I would
have had a different response for him. Something along the
lines of sticking that offer where the sun never shines. But
I held my tongue. If the low-baller reads this, consider yourself
an a**hole, like you really are. Other than that, I had a great
time at the show. I got to meet some nice people and rekindle
some friendships from past shows.
These cases are still for sale...

Well the cue I referred to in an earlier post with the
elephant wrap has arrived (Tascarella) and so now the new
Whitten case (2nd from left) is in use. So the JB butterfly
case (1st on left) is now available for sale as well. $500 shipped.
It's in great condition and will give the new owner many years
of use. I just have too many cases for my own good...
