Posted in wrong forum, please don't reply to this. I'll repost later today in wanted for sale.

This is partially a feeler, but if the right thing comes along I may jump on it. So i'm posting it here.

I just picked up a custom cue from Dale Chilton a few weeks ago. I'm already in love with the cue, but sadly the case I already have doesnt fit the cue. From bumper to pin tip, it is 31.5 to 32 inches long ( i'll re-measure when i'm home from work ). Right now to get it into my case, it is putting a divot in the lid, and it is compressing the bumper (shock obsorber style bumper) to get it to fit. I do plan to get joint protectors for this cue as well, so that will add a little bit of length as well. (once the cue is home, I unzip the lid to releave the preasure )

So far, I have not found a production case that will accomodate my cue with a joint protector, so i'm going to have to look into customs. I really like the Flowers Tribute case by JB, and right now i'm leaning towards something like that if the extra length can be accomodated. However i'm open to other suggestions for cases. So far my only requirements are being able to accomodate up to 33-34" possibly, as well as being either a 4x6 or 4x8 case.

I have tried an instroke 2x4 that a local retailer had in stock, and it barely fit in there without a JP. I know how my cue feels, being 6'5" and not exactly skinny, I don't fit in many things myself. Figures my cue would have the same problem.

ugh.. just noticed I posted this in the cue gallery. Meant to post it in the Wanted/sale section. I'll repost later tonight. Please don't reply to this thread. Lets leave this section for beautiful pictures, not ramblings of someone bored at work.

Thanks.

Long Cue Case

I just got a John Hager 2x4 and 1x2 case. Both will accomodate a 32-inch long cue - if ordered as such. It took under 2 weeks to get custom embossed leather lizard print material ordered, case built, shipped and delivered.

These tube style cases really secure your cue using a really heavy duty mesh / wooven tube system. This is high end protection.

It took a while for me to reach John, since he is easier to reach over the cell phone rather than email. I suggest you try calling first.

You can see some details of his case system and other components at:

John has some new style cases he is making, which are not currently up on the separate website for ordering cases. These have the storage pouch attached directly to the case. You can see these at:

Eric Fatboy Peterson in Insidepool's "What's in the Case" video has one of these cases. Fatboy shows the cue extension, cue hanger, and case in this video.

AZer Deacon is selling some 1x2 on this forum, and is very familiar with these cases:

I have a J.W Hager myself and it is a well made case and will hold a longer Cue and Cues a very easy to remove from the case and well protected when in the case.

I have a 2 by 4

No seems on mines to come apart.

Mines wasn't very expensive at all.

Way cheaper then an Instroke which I also have a 2 by 3.
