Centennial Cue case

I got a Centennial case as part of a trade deal. Condition is what you'd expect for a case that has been used, but also taken care of, since it was new. Cover still fits tightly, no big gouges or worn spots. Not interested in selling, but curious...when were they made, and what is a ballpark value for something like this?
Thanks

Made in Houston...financed by Richard Black. Things didnt work out, so Black quit the financing. The were supposed to be the cases the Black included with the higher end cues. But, like i said, things didnt work out. I can find out the the guys name tommorrow. I think he is still here in Houston, but has nothing to do with billiards anymore. These have become a hot item for collectors...1x2 ranging from 200-350. 2x4 ranging from 300-500. All depending on condition. I hope this helps.

From another site:

"Mike Bergman made Centennial Cases in Houston, Texas, through the 1980's and into the 1990's. These cases were made in the Fellini style, but with hardwood caps at the top and bottom. There is no lock. The case is sealed with a teflon friction ring similar to an "O" ring, which provides enough pressure to hold the lid on firmly."

Wow, I'll sell a ton of 'em if they are going for that much!!!

The 1x2's average $150-$200 and the 2x4's go for ~$300-350, of course this all depends upon the condition. The 2x4's are fairly rare, as I heard less than 100 were made....

West, I have an unused 1x2... new old stock, that's genuine ostrich (not ostrich print). Any idea what it may be worth. Just wondering, although it's not for sale.
