Well, force follow does not describe the distance of the roll out. Rolling out over one or two diamonds is about the same as follow and will not produce the cue ball track off the OB at an angle. Around 6" does it. I think we'll stick to "center ball" for ourselves.
I think Randy Goettlicher started a thread on a similar subject. Get him involved. Difficulty when explaining things comes from one's perception/description is different than anothers, and often that must first be out of the way to proceed. I learned long ago when I got teaching (I no longer do that) understanding your students background is extremely helpful when it comes to explaining concepts.
Example, ''walking up to the shot''. I couldn't explain it well enough to this gentleman but before we started our first lesson he told me was an airline pilot. The light went on. I said. How do you land on a runway, do you come in from the side and land quickly or do you approach the runway from far away and come into the landing area. He got it immediately. Every person processes words differently, getting on the same page I found to be the most difficult task when teachin. Once you get it tho, you got it. If you can learn 2 things, it will take you a few mths to incorporate, if you practice enough.
