Certificate of Authenticity Question

I just took a second look at the seller, and they have no feedback from buyers. I would not bid, but if you must, contact the seller and see if they'll use an escrow like proficient billiards.

Thanks ABall.

I believe this is a scam. I sent the seller several emails in the past few days but have not received any reply back yet.

I'm convinced this auction and undfortunately his Ginacue auction are both scams.

I'm not a photo expert, but the Ginacue on ebay from the 1970's looks to be the same cue on Cornerstonecustomcues.com under vintage cues. Just a thought...

Seems we need a certificate of authenticity for the certificate of authenticity...

What happened to handshake and a smile?

Death to scammers!!

At St. Peter's Gate, they will have their identities stolen and suddenly shoot straight to hell, to roast on a pyre of burning cue certificates of authenticity and reams stolen paypal customer data - FOR ETERNITY!!!

Scam or no scam, the cue is refinished and no original shafts. Right now, refinishing seems to be somewhat OK with cue collectors, but as time goes by, I forsee this being the same kind of issue as it is with antique furniture. For instance, a Thomas Chippendale dinging set might be in the millions in original and often quite ugly condition, but the same set with a beautiful refinish... 1/20th the value.

look at feedback......

He has not bought or sold anything since 2001, smells fishy to me. I have also see these pitures before, I just can't remember from how far back, maybe within the last few months.

Aunthenticity

If you'll look closely at the letter of authenticity, he's covered something up with a small piece of paper . I'm sure what's he's covering up may be the owner of the cue, which this paperwork goes with, but maybe, he's concealing it, becasue soemone watching the auction may recongnize the name.

This is a common thing on ebay.

Both auctions have been pulled.... just now!

I had turned it in for a hijacked account on both cues, this and the Ginacue. They can quickly check on hijacked accounts because the contact info is changed - and they cancelled the auctions.

Both those damn Palmer auctions are still going. I've even given them the old copied items numbers and nada...
