If you could get away with NOT putting anything in the tubes, that would be ideal. Especially at the tip end, since deflection will be very low with only the carbon fiber there.
The problem you have is weight and sound. The tubes are too light, so weight must be added. But you do NOT want weight near the tip end, or deflection goes way up.
If nothing is in the tube, the sound they make is HORRIBLE, so compromises must be made. A very heavy filler at the back of the shaft and a very light filler at the tip is the ideal way to go. The Revo has light density foam throughout, and a weight is added about 8-10" from the joint end.
