Anyone find any other information as to the times of the matches and who is playing who in the challenge of champions at the Mohegan sun Wednesday and Thursday? I heard somewhere that they start at 4 pm. Anyone confirm this?
Who else is checking this tournament out? I hope to get a better seat than last year, I had the sound proof booth blocking my view last year.

At least I have some good reading material to read while waiting in the long line to get a seat.
Being delivered today via ups:
Banking witht he beard, and The science of pocket billiards.

Best time to get there

The past couple years I've been there by 2, and there is a line. There basically aren't any seats that are any better than others, just as long as you get one. Hopefully you have a buddy so you can switch of waiting in line and go hit the tables or slots while you're waiting.

Does anybody know anything about Yoshihiro Kitatani? The name sounds familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyways I can't wait for the winner to be crowned $50,000 is a huge payday especially in the pool world.

Hey Mike!

How bout some Vbookie action on this Challenge of Champions?

Shorty

From what I have seen ..

on TV, the Mohegan Sun looks like a super place
to be playing Pool at.

I found this ...

Yoshihiro Kitatani, 2004 Tokyo Grand Prix Champion and Japan National
Champion, will represent Japan.

az scedule says,,,C of C 10-11,,,,big apple 11-14

so i'm assuming any players at C of C involved in the final day will get a bye if they're also going to the big apple tourney???

The Big Apple is allowing players to come in from the C of C and will hold their matches for them.

Mike

By the way, can someone who will be at both days of the event drop me an email or a PM?

Thanks,

Mike

I gotta root for that last U.S. player.

Yeah, I'm with you... go, Gabe, go! Saw Gabe in Tulsa this past weekend when I played the tournement there. He was shooting really well. Unfortunately, Walden was shooting lights out! You've got a good kid there, and I'm always in his corner... unless of course, he's at the table with me, then I kinda wish his wheels would fall off! :)

Later,
Bob

He & Walden have always gone neck & neck in sooo many tournaments, at least years ago they did. I sure hope he's shooting good, he has to in this event, I doubt if there is much room for error with the players and the way it is set up that any one of them can win.
So how did the Tulsa tournament go?
