is there a Calcutta at these events?

Hello just wondering if there is a calcutta at these. It is about a five hour drive for me so that could help me make up my mind as to if I will be there or not....thanks

I agree the information for this is so limited its terrible! They cannot reasonably ask you to pay $35 extra for no future events scheduled. If its not changed quickly I expect this tour to have some serious problems...again! I sure hope not because they can really attract great fields. The buzz is already high about the return but they need to fix the problems.

Also confusing, can a man get a $20 1-time fee? Guess it'd be dumb to do it, wondering anyway.:o

The rates are based on skill level, which is I'm sure subjectively decided upon by Jose Burgos, maybe not the best idea. Regardless the only real problem is paying $35 for annual fee and no scheduled events. They better come out with a schedule or people are going to be upset over that one

This tournament is in Frederick Md not Champion Billiards in Arlington Va

If it would help, Planet Pool has asked the Arlington location to host at least one event in 2011 but haven't been in contact with Mike as of late

Mike is trying ... that I know

The scene is there for his pickin'. Nothing to it but ta do it!

Before I make the trip...

I would like a few things cleared up.... This will help me decide what I will be paying as well as others

What are the following guys handicap/ABCD

Shaun Wilkie
Ryan McCreash
Matt ClatterBuck
Tony Long
Walter Koch
Alan Duty
Tommy Kay
Steve Wigglesworth

These are some regular players in the beltway area. If this ? is answered, that could help a few of the ?'s.

The $35 tour fee is not good with no other events sheduled yet. Is this gonna be a points tour. Is there gonna be year end prizes and tournament. There are several unaswered ?'s lingering. I am hoping this tour takes off. I will be to every tournament I can if it is ran right.

you could make a arguement for lower tier pros,,

I would think A players are guys who are capable of winning the turney, and that top B players may crack the top 5 on a good day with a good draw average B may cash , c players may win a couple matches D players 2 and out

be interesting to see how Mike does it

The first 3 on list would definetly be classified as OPEN level players

This handicap entry fee system is really not hard to figure out........someone like Alan Duty or Cary Dunn would probably be A level players. A open player has a chance to win any pro tournament such as when Shawn Wilkie almost won the Pro Players championship in Valley Forge a few yrs back , a A level also has a slight chance where as a B level would be a longshot in a open tourney........a C is someone who is new to tourneys and competition and trying to get seasoned or better...I hope this helps:grin:

Does anyone know if there are any other scheduled events for this tour......

or does anyone know if there will be more events scheduled in the 2011 season? I think this needs to be addressed soon b4 expecting any player to pay a yearly tour member fee - if the tourney directer or promoters of this tour answer this question b4 this event then I may justify hoping in my car and driving the 4 hrs to get there!
