Championship Pro-Am Cloth

Thinking about installing some new cloth on my table and heard Championship Pro-Am cloth is comparable to Simonis. Does anyone have experience with this cloth and if so, what are your thoughts? I would prefer Simonis mostly because of the name and reputation, but the Championship is available now and cheaper.

Tour Edition 30/30. Just beware that it stretched MUCH further than Simonis. So whomever is installing it, needs to know what they are doing or it could end up being loose. Seyberts has it in stock and shipping free. Good luck and keep us posted on your outcome?

Thanks for the feedback, I will keep you updated. So you prefer the Tour Edition over the Pro-Am? What are the main differences? Also, my table is 8' if that makes any difference.

As another option, I put Gorina Granito tournament 2000 on my GCI. Went on easily enough, very fast.

Oh, I probably wouldn't put the cloth I just recommended on an eight-footer.

A little lighter weight and would likely wear faster in a commercial environment. Speed is likely very similar. Either cloth is going to stretch a lot more than Simonis because of the nylon content being 30%

I’m pretty sure the guy I bought my diamond from puts championship on all of the tables in his pool room. So it must play pretty similar. I’ve also heard good things about Andy cloth for what it’s worth.

ANDY988 plays great. Very similar to 860HR.

The place I play league at swapped over to this brand. I am not sure which actual version they went with other than it was championship cloth. It plays much faster than my 860hr at home. I don't mind it but it definitely takes an adjustment dialing the power down. Seems to handle humidity very well and is holding up to lots of play.

Think I said this before that 4 tables at our local tournament installed 30/30. I had championship along time ago and it's definitely fast but these tables are almost to fast. They roll straight etc but damn!!! I was talking to the guy who let the installer in and waited on him and he said they stretched it 7" total, does that sound right?

I go 3 3/4" side to side and same on each end, so YES. I think it plays very good.

I heard it wears real good. Lasts a long time
Just changed mine about a year and a half ago. The old cloth was on my table for 10 years...play every day and take very good care of it. Friend has had it on his table since I took it off. Definitely worn but still plays good
