change from joint type to joint type possible?

Hi Cuemakers

I have a very nice shaft here-2inches longer than usual- with 3-8/10.
Is it possible for a cuemaker to change 3-8/10 to 5/16x14 or even so from 5/16.14 to 3-8/10 ?
would really interest me- or if this would be a bigger problem.

To be clear-just talking about the shafts-not the complete joint

Would be much easier changing from 3/8-10 to 5/16-14 than visa versa. But neither would be impossible or even difficult. Yes, it can be done & it's not that tough a job.
