If this new "label" (Dr. Dave, the Pool Doctor) makes me any money, I'll put a "check in the mail" for you.

First thing i noticed. Along with the mouth breather faceDid anybody notice "Doofus Dave" holding the cue backwards and cuing at the wrong ball on the left side of the title image?
Great video.
The focus on self development is great.
How about recommending a pool journal?
Its a complete video in the sense the concepts are related. Its not a complete assessment and development video.
Players should be able track their progress and adjust their goals based on current knowledge and abilities.
However this video is a blinders approach to development. Not all players need drills or corrections, some players need a mental approach or awareness of their actions.
You look pretty healthy for an old guy.
With todays tech I cant tell if your an AI or a CG animated puppet. Can you prove your not a bot?

I find cuts to the right difficult to aim while standing sometimes. It seems like I can't just stand behind the shot as I can with cuts to the left.
Step into the shot from the other direction for those shots.
Paul Baker got me doing this years ago. Sometimes it really helps with that "I'm twisted" feeling.

If you walk, step, or drop into your stance with your vision center on the shot line while standing and during the entire drop, and with your face square to the shot with your eyes level, shots to the left and right should look the same. The different ways to do this are demonstrated in this video:
Thanks so much....I know that, but sometimes that doesn't work. It just doesn't.
A guy at the pool hall was complained about feeling twisted, with no good explanation for it.
At my age, I have many techniques to overcome such pesky things. The standard way doesn't always work so well.

Great Video Doc! All that is really great stuff.
I have suspected that many of my miss shots over the years have been due to my faulty vision center and alignment.
I think I have much in common with the old Dave, he could be my long lost twin. Lol I just strive to be somewhat less of a Dufus by the time I’m too old to enjoy the game. Once again, great video and I’ll be incorporating this into my daily routine/therapy.
Finally got a chance to watch the video on lunch break at work. Good job! Lots of things I'm currently working on incorporating and some I never gave much though, thanks for the helpful video!
Dave - thanks for the focus and recognizing the need to continue reinforcing certain themes. That's a teaching quality sometimes rare. Thanks, and you're welcome. I'm glad you liked it, and I hope you find it helpful.

Just as important, the corny sound effects were awesome!![]()
Yeah...utube and internet snipers abound from their hide holes. What your video's represent are wholesome, informative, and descriptive. A little humor is indicative of intelligence so I'm not surprised there are a few folks that can't get over themselves. Your production quality is excellent IMO.Thanks again, and you're welcome.
I'm glad you liked the audio memes. Judging from some of the comments on YouTube, some people thought they were inappropriate or excessive. I think they need to get over that.
