The IPT website changed their tournament schedule with TO BE ANOUNCED...

Doe anyone know why?

It's not nice because players and fans want to book their flight as early as possible because of the cost. Also many other tournaments around the world have adjusted their schedule to the IPT schedule and now....is it all going to change??

I posted this elsewhere:

Due to the increased interest aroused by the MS/LJJ match, there have been better offers for venues, but the dates will have to change from Super Bowl weekend too. Looks like Feb. Hope they don't conflict with the last 2 weekends in Feb. with established dates of other big tourneys. Mike Massey told me he has a gig on Feb. 10-11 and is hoping it doesn't conflict.

I hope this is a one timer and that the schedule will not change every month. The entire poolworld cannot adjust if Mr. Trudeau thinks it would be better if he shifts it a week or two....

IPT Schedule Change

The IPT Masters' 8-Ball Championship was scheduled for January 31-February 5, 2006.

If the IPT now has thoughts of changing this event to sometime in February, I too hope they don't conflict with established dates of other events like the $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic VI event that is scheduled for February 16 - 19, 2006 or the WPBA Carolina Women's Billiards Classic event scheduled for February 22-26, 2006.

I know for a fact that many IPT members have already commited to play in either one or both of these events and it would surely be unfair to not only the players (and fans), but also all involved who have spent countless hours promoting great events such as these.

And in Europe we have the same with a couple of tournaments...

Hopefully the IPT comes with answers SOON.
