He get's in your head, stays within the rules normally? That's what everyone should strive for. That's what pool is about, right? I love the guy. What's happened too him? Earl Strickland must be second on the "perfect table manners" list?
That's one way of looking at it?
I prefer SVB or Efren's way of playing the game.
He's one of my
favorite players as well but have to disagree with you about his mannerisms.
I think it was the 2001 or2 but I remember watching him in the finals or
semi's of the WPC and was almost DQ'ed for putting his cue on the table,
and letting go of it and using it to aim his next shot.
The ref told him you must keep a hand on the cue at all times when on
the table.Chao does it again a few minutes later and the ref warned him again.
But the best one he did in the same match was in the middle of his
opponent shooting,he starts talking to somebody on his cell phone in
the middle of the guys runout.
I remember watching this on TV at the poolhall with a couple guys and
we were all like''holyshit, what a shark, the refs going got to end this''.
I've never saw a guy do that specially in the WPC.i still love how he plays
but after seeing that many years ago,I've always questioned his ethics.
You'd probably find that match on youtube.
