I just saw the news Charlie Williams defeated Van Boening 9-6.
Wow, CW seems to be on a roll, he beat Shane just a week ago and now again and still going on strong.

Shane shutout Parica 9-0, while Parica schooled Immonen earlier 9-2.
Weird seeing all these lopsided scores with the champions.

Yeah, and last week Shane and Corey dispatched Ocullo and Bustamante. Doesn't mean a thing. Settle down in a long race or about 12 ahead for the cheese, now you got something. Personally though, I don't think SVB has been the same since Alex took a little wind out of his sails...Tom

Joss events are winner breaks format.

That might be the reason for the lopsided scores, or the fact that some upsets happen because a player made an error, and never returned to the table.

To me, this is 9 ball in it's purest form. The mystery is to figure out the break, and then exploit it.

Shane will be fine as long as Alex stays on the other side of the Pacific.

Actually Shane is going to the World Ten Ball next month and a little birdy told me there is a good chance ALL the top filipinos will be able to play. I sure hope so.
