I was very pleased to read the AZBilliards headline about Charlie Williams' big win in the Florida State championships. He prevailed over a very tough field.

With the Mosconi Cup not so far away, this bodes well for the US team, which, in my view, will square off against the strongest Mosconi team Europe has ever put together.

Great win for Charlie!
 
I remember around this time last year Charlie got red hot and snapped off a couple of tournaments like it was nothing, IMO he is an underrated player that is capable of winning any tournament he enters.
 
Charlie always plays tough. And the really amazing thing is that his competition is always top notch. But I guess Charlie thought his competition wasn't tough enough so he went out and imported Jeong to play here.

Well, now that Charlie Williams has pocketed the winning nine ball in the Mosconi Cup, his form looks even better! Bravo to Charlie and to the entire American team.

Hear, hear, SJM. When push came to shove, the Korean Dragon came through in what must have been an excruciating tension-filled match against England's Snooker Champion and Favorite Poster Boy, Steve Davis!

American fans are beaming with pride and so proud of our Team USA! This is one tournament that Charlie Williams will NEVER forget! What a GREAT win! :)
