Cue and Brew a pool hall in Aberdeen New Jersey has lowered its rates to $5.00 and hour. With a coupon they are giving out it is first person pays $5 and the second is free. That's $2.50 an hour. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Friday nights I run a cheap $5 tournament. Mostly apa 5's and 6's. We play 8 ball double elim race to 2. Just a little fun get together.
 
Place I play charges $30 monthly to members and the tables are good, I don't think you can beat that. It is way better than hourly. It would be like finding a good hooker and get a cheap monthly flat rate, just doesn't happen.
 
Per-Person

Is it common to pay per-person per-hour, rather than per-table per-hour?

In my very limited experience, most places around here (Portland, OR), that do rent by the hour, rent per-table...

Rates are 2.40 an hour person or you can pay $25.00 weekly! They are open Sun- Sat noon til 1:00 am!
