I am a dealer for McDermott cue, and may sales representative contacted me around two weeks ago because they had found some of the additional D-series forearms that were being made into cues.
Two years ago I had purchased and sold 40 converted D-series cues from McDermott most them were made from D-12 and D-17 forearms. The new cues I purchased arrived today, they are made from D-14 and D-18 forearms, and they are better quality than the cues I bought before. The points are even, the finish is great, the design is also very good, and these cues hit real nice.
If anyone has a chance to purchase one of these cues as a player, do not hesitate. Below are the photo's:
