The title description says pro-8. I didn't know they had those in the 1800s.

4 pieces of slate for an 8 footer?-could be- who knows how they did things way back then.
 
I think the pro 8 was all they had for an 8 back then. I believe the home 8 is the newer size. Wish I had the cash...about all I can say about that piece of history.
 
Judging by the scale of the slates to what's in the background it sure looks like it's a 10 foot table. I seen that table whilst shopping.
