First time visiting Chicago as well.
Thanks Guys!
G-Cue has good food, is nice looking and has Gabriel tables (the best commercial tables I've ever played on), but is expensive and pretty much deserted during the day. I've never been there at night but it must fill up or they'd have gone under by now. It used to be owned by Tom Karabatsos, a pro who owns a couple of other rooms around Chicago, but is now run by his sister.1 Pocket Ghost said:There are two poolrooms located 1 mile from the center of downtown Chicago. Both are modern 'yuppie' poolrooms in nice areas with nice tables and upscale atmosphere...........One is called G-Cue and is 1 mile west of downtown, the other is called City Pool Hall and is 1 mile northwest of downtown. There is no action or good players at these two pool halls, but you didn't say you were looking for that.....If you are, then you need to go to either Chris's billiards-10 miles NW of downtown, or Red Shoes Billiards-15 miles SW of downtown.
