...and about 10 years ago, there was a little known cuemaker in Chicago named Kyle Van Der Bosch-sp? who for a few years was making butterfly point cues only - and they were pretty nice - he was the son of the owner of what was the Chicago 'action' poolroom at that time.

Tate, We have something in common....I am also an Eddie Laube cue fan...as a matter of fact, I have, in mint cond. the fanciest, high-end cue that he made back in the 60's - I've had it for 35 years. If I ever get around to taking pics of it, I'll send you some, you'd probably enjoy seeing them. Ghost

I would absolutely love to see them. I was shocked to hear from Joel Hercek that Eddie made his own full splice blanks - they are quite impressive.

There are more too. How about Bob Meucci, BMC and WICO? Meucci started in Illinois before moving.

It's a great city anyway, with or without cues.
