China Open Photo Diary

Those photos of China are absolutely breath-taking. I can almost feel like I'm there experiencing the pool atmosphere. Wow! I love China now. :)

Man, I'd love to hang out in this pool room. Look at the luxurious space between the table.

Who is this player? He's interesting. I like him; he's got character. :grin-square:

What is that emblem on his cue case? It looks almost identical to Predator.

I recognized Walter from Philippines, but that's the only face I could recognize. :o

I think his name is Walter. My memory is fading. :frown:

Markus, keep these pictures coming. I'm enjoying them a lot. I'm sure others will, too, when they discover them. :)

His name is Warren kiamco:grin:

The pics are superb, there are lot of known faces there, few from taiwan, also ricky zerna from phillipines, some players from middle east.

Too sad i could not go.

That's Warren Kiamco... :)

Thanks, MontoP2 and Blowfish!

I've watched Warren and my other half gamble all night long, and yet I could not remember his name, only his face. :o

Everyone I know goes away in the end. :(

Looking forward to more pictures. Love these pics! :)

Nice to see an old guard still competing... That's Chao Fong Pang...

I forget his name but is a pro from Taiwan who has been living in Shanghai for several years. Good player and nice guy.

The last time I saw him a couple years ago he was working and teaching at one of the Pan Xiao Ting pool rooms. Gave me several free lessons.

I have never seen him without that that on.

That is cool. You can see he has a lot of character in him. I love his style. If you can find out his name, let me know.

We should ask fruhlein when he gets a chance after this trip to add some names to the pictures. I do love those photographs, and it is always nice to learn the names of these pool greats! :)

I know Rodolfo. I sure haven't seen him in a long while. Looks like all the Pinoys don't come to the States very often anymore. I guess it's because most of the high-caliber pool competitions are held elsewhere today, more and more in the Asian-Pacific region of the world.
