Choppy Streams on a Macbook

I've watched many streams and some are smooth but some are very choppy. They do this the entire match and I've talked to several others that I know who have Mac's and they do the same thing. Why is this and is there any fix for it.

This fixed my problem

Right click on the video and select settings. Select the bottom left icon and disable hardware accelerating. This should fix the issue.
 
Hi, is the "choppiness" a lagging/lost frame issue, or something else? Or does it look like the players are jittering back and forth?

In addition to the other recommendations, you might want to make sure you've recently updated your OS. I know that watching videos like youtube was a significant issue for Lion when it came out and they issued a fix a couple of months ago.
