This cue plays very well and is a very true and solid cue. Rolls straight together and apart. Cue weighs 19.6 ounces, 58 1/2" from tip to bumper, and ferrules measures 12.8 MM. Shafts are made of hard rock maple and have Talisman med. tips. Cue has 3/8-11 radial joint pin. Cue is made of a very beautiful piece of Cocabola and Hard Rock Maple. The forearm has been turned down to .790 and the signature is no longer. The balance point is now 18 1/4" from the Butt end. I sent this cue to Mr. Nitti and had him confirm it was his cue and had the 2 shafts made about 6 months ago. Chris Nitti is well known for his craftsmanship! I like his work and the playability of his cues so much I have bought a new Ebony/Ivory Nitti cue and am going to sell this one. This cue has a few small dings in the butt, nothing serious, and I would say it to be at 90% condition.Feel Free to ask me any questions. Thanks for looking. I'm curious why the forearm was as you say "turned down to .790". Thats extremely thin. Meucci is the thinnest at .820. Most cues are in the .840 to .860 range. Also that radial pin is 3/8-7.5.
Nitti makes one of the finest cues available.

The person I got it from did this. Said he was trying to make a break cue out of it. Personally I wish he had not.
The cue does play extremly well IMO and I have been using it as my break cue since I recieved my new Nitti. David

How does the thinner joint help the break? I ask because I just had a Titlist 1-piece converted and had to go with a .78 joint so that I could keep it full-splice and it plays fine.

Also, who made the shafts?

I am not going to say if the thinner joint does or does not help the break, all I can say is the cue breaks very well. The new shafts were made by Mr. Nitti himself and he does one heck of a job matching things up. David
