This is probably because you offered him a Schon and a Centennial in trade.

Gian, great post about Chris Nitti's Cues. I personally enjoy reading your opinions on here and in person when you visit my room.
Hope all is well

I can appreciate everything you guys have said about the quality of Chris' cues, but am I the only person to see the poor quality of the dot inlays up the right side of the left window, in the first close-up pic? That's probably why he didn't want anyone looking to close at the cue. I'm sorry but to have a cue with that kind of quality seemingly everywhere else, that's poorly done for sure. No disrespect meant whatsoever, merel making an observation. I would expect more in a cue of this price.
It is in very poor form to make a post like this without either seeing the cue in person, or seeing higher quality up close photos. There is no way you can tell the quality of work from the OP photos. Not cool...

i'd like to further this thought with the opinion that its in poor form period. Regardless of photos or venue. Every craftsman has there differences when it comes to quality or even personality. This diversity is what makes cues beautiful and desirable. If everyone made a similar perfect cue then this gallery would not exist. Its time people start embracing cues for what they are and not what they think they should be. I see cues all the time that are not for me but i appreciate them for there contribution.

Are you saying that a cuemaker built some cues for a cue show and didn't want anyone to look at them?
Let's see...I'm going to make some fancy cues for the ICCS, spend a bunch of money to get to the show,
but when I get there I don't want anybody to look close at my cues.
That would be like having more fun and enjoying it less, or an SNL skit.
.
