Was wondering what is the best way to dead-nut the chuck on the model b, Any input would be appreciated.

Of course the allen bolts that hold the chuck to the backplate , but also the 3 set screws that hold the backplate on the spindle will give some adjustment . Do the set screws last and you should get pretty close with a good dial indicator . I have a 5 " chuck and backplate on mine and can get it to .001-.0005 ... good luck
