a chance to get some stratwood, and durawood made a few break cues. last cue in photo has a break shaft and a playing shaft.

the stratwood is veneers glued together
the durawood is veneers stabalized

I know nothing about dymondwood. This is the stuff they use to make gunstocks.
 
i misspelled the wood

the lighter color is spectraply that shaft is 3.7 oz

the darker color is dmylux those shafts are 6 to 6 3/4 oz, the dmylux is a stabilized wood that is very dense
 
if anyone is interested.. the cue on the far left is about to be listed for Sale . since i received the stick i changed the tip to a samsura break tip.. I also had a playing shaft made for it that looks imo even better than the playing shaft with the other stick shown above as its darker with more colors going through it but made of the same material.
