i found in my buckeye burl's a piece that went from the normal buckeye grain pattern to almost black in color. not really long enough by its self, but with a piece of water buffalo horn in between the two black end pieces it looks great as a handle in this cue. 2 pieces of buckeye and a piece of water buffalo horn, the pieces have been cored with a laminated dowel. the buckeye fades to almost the same color of the horn. cue is not finished, but just has a sealer on it at this time, buckeye rings. i think its gonna be a knockout when finished.
