19.3 oz one piece ebony butt. Butt and handle area is cored with maple to adjust weight, forearm is solid. Moose antler at butt and joint. the moose has greys in it as does the ebony. at arms length the ebony looks solid black. but like in last photo, under HIGH density lights you will see slight grey streaks. i could have dyed the ebony and bleached the moose, but wanted to leave both natural.
My standard 1/2 by 8 wood pin, flat face joint, and a modified constant taper on the shaft. 13 mm ultraskin tip with no ferrule, just a carbon fiber pad. i can add a ferrule at no cost, but if you buy the cue please try the no ferrule first, as i think you will love the hit.
Cue has a slight thinner taper, its 58 inches long .86 at the joint and 1.23 at the butt.
[ .85 and 1.25 are standard ]

How does the moose antler hit compared to ivory?

Chuck's cues play great. To me moose antler plays good. May not have the ping of ivory but will move the cue just as good. You will never know the difference I don't think. This will no doubt be a phenomenal playing cue.

I know I'm breaking a rule but that is one sweet cue. If that doesn't move in a few weeks it might need to come visit me. Good luck, Chuck.
